Car Paints Group Ltd

The Morelli Group are pleased to announce that they will be taking over the business of Car Paints Group Ltd and Chiltern Car Paints Ltd with effect from 5th January 2004 and that this is with the full support of DuPont Performance Coatings and all major suppliers.

It is Morelli's intention to amalgamate the business activities of Car Paints Group into our existing branch structure and as a result will not be taking over the Waltham Abbey and Didcot premises currently operated by Car Paints Group.

Following our acquisition of Bancrofts in 2000, Morelli Group are the largest independent distribution group in the UK and this acquisition further consolidates our business with DuPont Performance Coatings.

Morelli Group Managing Director, John Moring explains:

Maggy Harris and her team will remain with the Morelli Group, and Maggy states:
